Registered Dental Hygienist - Locust Grove Dental Care - Spotsylvania, VA

Overview We are seeking a dedicated, Friendly, Reliable and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic, Private practice dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with dentists and assist in delivering high-quality dental services while ensuring a comfortable experience for patients of all ages. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventative care. Assist in the administration of local anesthesia and other procedures as needed. Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture accurate diagnostic images. Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. Document patient medical records accurately and maintain confidentiality. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including general dentistry services. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Strong knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology. Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with skills in dental assisting being a plus. But willing to consider New Graduates! Familiarity with infection control standards and practices. Proficiency in dental software, like OPEN DENTAL. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages. A compassionate approach towards patient care, particularly in pediatric dentistry settings. This is a Full-time 4-1/2-5 day/week schedule, no evenings or weekends! Off at 1pm on Fridays!
