Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in general dentistry and specialized procedures, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a diverse patient population, including pediatric and adult patients, ensuring the highest standards of oral health and patient safety. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments utilizing medical and dental terminology to diagnose oral health issues. Provide a wide range of dental services including general dentistry, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Utilize dental imaging technology to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient assessment. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Adhere to all relevant dental office policies and procedures, including those related to medical documentation and confidentiality. Skills Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards. Skilled in performing direct and indirect dental restorative treatments. Strong patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of medical records and patient information. Eager to learn complex procedures including: prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment options clearly to patients of all ages.
