In this role, you will assist in various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and supporting the dentist in delivering exceptional care. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our practice's high standards of service. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Ensure patient comfort by providing support and answering questions during appointments. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records. Manage sterilization of instruments and adhere to aseptic techniques. Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits and clean up after procedures. We are a family office so you will occasionally assist with pediatric dentistry tasks as needed, ensuring a positive experience for young patients. Utilize medical imaging technology as required for diagnostic purposes. General housekeeping tasks to insure a clean and organized dental office throughout. Requirements Must be able to come in for in person interview Reliable transportation and availability during posted scheduled hours Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required, single doctor office with one dental assistant, all assistant duties are sol responsibility, other staff will help when able Knowledge of dental terminology and medical documentation practices. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
