Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry procedures, excellent patient care skills, and familiarity with modern dental software systems. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques. Diagnose dental conditions and develop personalized treatment plans for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry when applicable. Conduct various procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and document treatments in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure infection control protocols and aseptic techniques are strictly followed to guarantee patient safety. Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions, ensuring clear communication using appropriate medical terminology. Collaborate with dental assistants and staff to optimize workflow and patient experience within the dental clinic environment. Stay current with advancements in dentistry, including new materials, techniques, and software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and other digital tools. Skills Proficiency in dental software systems including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards. Experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and dental fabrication is highly desirable. Ability to perform dental extractions safely and efficiently while maintaining aseptic technique. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to diverse patient needs. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices to ensure confidentiality and compliance. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office environment with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry and the ability to interpret results accurately.
