Job Summary COME GROW WITH US! We may have a position for you. We are seeking two licensed Dental Hygienist to join our Missouri Dental Office for full-time or Part-time. New graduates and less experienced candidates are welcome to apply. The ideal candidates will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, performing thorough dental cleanings, educating patients on oral health, supporting a positive office environment, and should be eager to learn. Duties Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent disease and promote oral health. Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Take x-rays. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, documenting findings, and updating medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies tailored to pediatric and general dentistry needs. Prepare treatment rooms for procedures, ensure sterilization of instruments, and maintain a sterile environment following infection control protocols. Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and current best practices in dental hygiene to deliver high-quality care. Skills Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft for documentation review and record management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques. Experience in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry settings; familiarity with pediatric-specific protocols is preferred. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to patient assessment and education. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and patient information. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and vital signs monitoring to support comprehensive patient evaluations. Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced dental office environment while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and medical coding processes.
