Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and patient education. This role involves working with a diverse patient population of adult patients, (no pediatric ), we are utilizing advanced digital dental technologies and adhering to strict infection control protocols. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in various dental procedures and possess excellent patient care skills to ensure optimal oral health outcomes. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental treatments including examinations, restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental terminology to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging and other diagnostic tools to accurately diagnose oral health issues. Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical records standards. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Use dental fabrication techniques for crowns, bridges, dentures, and other prosthetic devices as needed. Collaborate with dental team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery to provide the highest standard of care. Requirements Valid state dental license with current credentials to practice as a General Dentist. Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for charting and documentation. Experience in dental office or clinic settings with a strong understanding of medical/dental terminology. Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice. Skills in root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures when necessary; experience in pediatrics is a plus. Familiarity with medical imaging technology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively. Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and protecting patient confidentiality.
