Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to prevent oral disease. Assess patient oral health through clinical examinations Take digital X-rays, ensuring proper technique and patient safety. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Review and update medical records accurately in EMR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Support infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment. Collaborate with dentists to review documentation, treatment plans, and medical coding for billing accuracy. Requirements Valid Maryland state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations and staff.
