Part Time Dental Assistant - Dental Sanctuary of Fanwood - Fanwood, NJ

We are a small, down-to-earth, and professional office located in Fanwood, NJ, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a reliable individual with a CURRENT DENTAL X-RAY LICENSE, and experience as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is preferred but not required. Hourly wage is based on type and length of experience. Must have great attention to detail, be very organized, and motivated to grow. Our ideal candidate should have a very friendly, warm and upbeat personality. Someone who has great interpersonal skills and who enjoys cultivating relationships with staff and patients. We will pay a competitive salary commensurate with your experience, starting off with at least $26 an hour. Currently looking for Wednesday and Friday shifts, with potential to add more days. Responsibilities: Chair-side Assistance: Set up operatories for treatments and provide chair-side assistance to dentists during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients. Digital Imaging: Perform dental x-rays (FMX, Panorex, CBCT, Bitewings, X-Rays) and ensure compliance with current regulations. Familiarity with digital x-rays is a plus. Sterilization and Infection Control: Maintain a clean and sterile environment by adhering to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines. Patient Care: Assist in patient care, including taking and recording vital signs and updating patient records. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment. Qualifications: CDA/RDA License: Current certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is preferred. Dental X-Ray Familiarity and License: MUST possess knowledge of and a current dental x-ray license.
