Dental Hygienist - Harris Family and Cosmetic Dentistry - Olympia, WA

Our office is looking to add another exceptional Registered Dental Hygienist to our team and we are looking for someone who wants to work anywhere from 1-3 days a week, Monday-Thursday. We're flexible so let's chat about what we can do! We are a fast-paced, private practice serving the Olympia area for over 30 years. Dr. Harris and his team believe dental care should not only be exceptional but fun too! Responsibilities Provide superior patient care and service; exhibit outstanding customer service and hospitality as well as chair side manner Prepare patients for their exams Take radiographs of patients using standard dental radiographic equipment Stay on schedule as much as possible to create no patient wait time; help manage patient flow; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, ready to work at all assigned shift times Educate patient on oral hygiene, health, disease as well as procedures and services; establish/communicate continued care Applying preventive materials to the teeth such as fluorides and sealants Verify patient health history and document appropriately in patient chart Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance Perform the following duties as applicable by practice and/or state laws: Screen for Oral Cancer Maintain accurate and legible notes in patients chart Assist with other office duties as requested or needed CE Credits Qualifications: Washington RDH License required Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene Certification for other duties as required by state practice act Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training as required by law Excellent verbal and written communication skills Versed in Dentrix is required Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Wages: $60-69/hour Benefits Available to Full Time Employees Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $60.00 - $69.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
