Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe treatment planning. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to their individual needs. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities within electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy at all times. Manage infection control procedures, sterilization processes, and maintain a clean clinical environment in accordance with industry standards. Requirements Valid Washington state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to perform dental hygiene procedures. Proficiency in using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft for documentation review and patient records management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental practice. Familiarity with infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures. .
