Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental practice. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software such Dentrix Handle patient intake processes, including collecting medical history and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to answer inquiries and direct calls appropriately Confirm appointments, send reminders, and follow up on patient needs to optimize clinic flow Conduct insurance verification, billing, and collection of copayments Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for health information management Assist with documentation review, filing, and managing dental records in digital systems like Dentrix Qualifications Proven experience in a dental environment with strong familiarity with dental terminology and clinic procedures Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Dentrix; experience with EMR/EHR Knowledge of insurance verification processes Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite; typing skills (10 key typing) are essential for efficient data entry Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle multi-line phones professionally and courteously Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Previous clinic or dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with dental terminology and office management practices is highly valued Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy Join our team where your enthusiasm fuels our mission to provide outstanding dental care!
