Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dental Assistant/ Front desk receptionist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing dental office systems, managing and assisting patient, and ensuring compliance with managed care protocols. This role is crucial for maintaining a smooth workflow and providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of dental office staff to ensure efficient operations. Manage patient calls, scheduling, billing, and insurance verification processes using dental office systems such as Dentrix. Ensure compliance with managed care policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of patient care. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and equipment necessary for daily operations. Implement and maintain office protocols to enhance patient satisfaction and streamline workflows. Assist in training new staff members on office procedures and systems. Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and address any concerns related to critical care. Maintain accurate records of patient information, treatment plans, and financial transactions. Experience Previous experience in a supervisory role within a dental office or clinic setting is required. Proficiency in dental management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft is preferred. Strong understanding of managed care processes and medical management practices. Experience in critical care environments is a plus but not mandatory. Background as a nurse or in medical management can be advantageous for this position. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
