Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in South Milwaukee, WI

Our South Milwaukee Family practice is looking for an energetic, vibrant and professional Dental Receptionist to welcome our patients on the phone or in person and coordinate/provide the highest quality dental care. Our team is known for personalized and patient-centered care and we'd love to meet a candidate who has a passion for dentistry and enjoys working with a great team and awesome patients. Full-time Hours Available · Monday: 9am-6pm · Tuesday: 8am-5pm · Wednesday: 9am-6pm · Thursday/Friday: 8:30am-5pm Front Desk Receptionist Tasks · Greet, respond quickly and effectively to needs of patients · Answer phone calls and responds to emails · Manage patient scheduling and direct patient flow · Provide confirmation of appointments for patients · Understand treatment plans · Process patient referrals as needed · Collect all necessary fees and deductibles · Coordinate with insurance companies to ensure claim completion · Check insurance coverages/eligibility · Send pre-authorization · Setup third party finance options for patients · Resolve patient issues in accordance with office policies · Ensure records are stored securely and in compliance with privacy regulations · Checking narratives against procedures walked out to ensure proper processing · Create and contribute to a supportive team environment · Maintain the flow within the dental office · Maintain professional appearance and functionality of office · Participate in staff meetings and trainings · Participate in keeping common areas of dental office clean · Perform other duties as assigned · Comply with budget for supplies order · Comply with office policies and procedures Skills · Ability to work independently and in a team setting · Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing · Written and verbal English competency · Able to read and follow directions · Understand ethics, public good and public trust · Respect the opinions and beliefs of others and display cultural sensitivity · Demonstrate a sense of responsibility for the success of the group · Collaborate with others to improve quality and address needs · Ability to adapt to change · Self-motivated and eager to learn · Organize and maintain work environment to allow for maximum productivity · Report on time for scheduled shifts and stay until the end of the scheduled shift · Positive, upbeat personality with a can-do spirit Minimum Requirements · High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent · Comfortable with dental terminology · Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel · Work scheduled hours as assigned · Must past criminal background check and drug test screening upon request · 1 year of dental receptionist experience preferred · Experience with electronic dental records and Eaglesoft preferred This position might be for you if: · You love helping others and provide the best service to the community and patients who are in need · You want to learn to communicate with patients without the pressure of âSELLING DENTISTRYâ · You believe in the quality relationship with your team and patients · You believe in getting better every day · You are self-driven and will take initiative to improve processes to make things better Wage is TBD - compensation will be commensurate with experience If you have any questions, please feel free to call our office @ 414-203-9664.
