Dental Hygienist - Vernon Family Dentists - Vernon Rockville, CT

Overview We are looking for an outgoing hygienist with strong interpersonal skills to join our dental office. Experience is preferred, but recent graduates are welcome to apply. We utilize CEREC, Trios, Galileos CBCT, and digital radiographs to provide the best and most comprehensive care to our well established patient base. All adult patients are booked for one hour appointments. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations. Provide professional dental cleanings (including SRP), polishing, sealants, radiographs, intra-oral photographs, and fluoride treatments. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the management of patient records using EagleSoft software. Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical terminology. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience in a dental office setting preferred; familiarity with general dentistry practices is essential. Proficiency in using EagleSoft or similar dental software is highly desirable. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
