Job Overview Weâre Hiring a Dental Assistant! Aer Dental Studio is looking for a motivated team player whoâs eager to learn and grow with us. We focus on who our patients are and how we can give them life changing treatment to hit their dental goals. We have a small, close knit team that works really hard. Experience with CEREC, IV sedation, and implants is a plus, but not a requirement. Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude is a must. We work Monday-Thursday 7 am - 3 pm. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use Take dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems Manage patient flow and ensure a positive experience for all patients, including pediatric cases Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Maintain accurate medical documentation and assist with medical coding as needed Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations Skills Proficient in EMR systems, Open Dental Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality Experience with pediatric dentistry and chairside assisting techniques Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control practices Ability to perform medical imaging procedures and understand medical documentation requirements Experience in general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and aseptic technique Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a clinical setting Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Join our team as a Dental Assistant where you can make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while advancing your career in the dental field.
