DENTAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team with dental background. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations of our dental practice, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients and efficient administrative support. Duties Greet patients as they arrive and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit. Schedule appointments, confirm patient attendance, and manage the appointment calendar. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and insurance information, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Handle phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist patients with any questions regarding services or billing. Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently. Utilize dental software such as Dexis Assist in managing medical records and ensure proper coding for insurance claims. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and effective communication within the office. Experience DENTAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Knowledge of dental terminology and coding is beneficial for effective communication with patients and insurance providers. Proficiency in using dental software systems is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction are essential. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
