As our Lead Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping our clinical operations running smoothly — supporting our dentists, mentoring team members, and ensuring every patient enjoys a comfortable, efficient visit. Responsibilities: Lead and support the dental assisting team with daily tasks and scheduling. Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and Invisalign. Maintain and enforce sterilization and infection control protocols. Manage clinical inventory and supply ordering. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper setup and breakdown. Take digital X-rays, impressions, and intraoral scans. Communicate effectively with patients about post-op care and treatment instructions. Present treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients. Follow up with patients to ensure scheduling and case acceptance. Collaborate with front office staff to ensure seamless patient flow. Train and mentor new assistants or externs. Predictable hours, respect, and growth. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of dental experience ... “Will train the right person”. Current Florida Dental Assistant Certification and X-ray license. Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience presenting treatment plans to patients.
