Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment. Provide compassionate care to patients, particularly children and those with special needs. Document patient information accurately and maintain organized medical records. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering when necessary. Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Requirements Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred but not required. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
