RESPONSIBILITIES: Key duties include: Coordinating with the Dental Manager to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal clinic efficiency Serving as chairside assistant for dentists, hygienists, and advanced dental therapists (ADT) Preparing operatories, exposing radiographs, sterilizing instruments, and managing infection control Managing dental inventory and placing supply orders Ensuring accurate and timely patient records, documentation, and treatment entries Supporting patient experience, answering questions, helping with wayfinding, and reducing barriers to care Contributing to ongoing quality improvement and participating in staff huddles, meetings, and trainings Promoting health education and participating in community outreach when appropriate WHO THRIVES HERE: This role is ideal for a dental assistant who: Wants to use their skills to make a direct impact in the community Enjoys being part of a close-knit, mission-driven team Appreciates a workplace that blends professionalism with warmth and humor Values cultural humility and patient-centered care Is organized, proactive, and ready to lead by example Job Type: Full-time Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Continuing education credits Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible spending account Free parking Health insurance Health savings account License reimbursement Paid time off Parental leave Retirement plan Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Preferred) Minnesota Dental Assistant License (Required) Ability to Commute: Minneapolis, MN 55404 (Required) Work Location: In person
