Overview We are seeking a hard-working, dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will support dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Duties Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all instruments are prepared and sterilized. Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols. Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain a clean and aseptic working environment in compliance with health regulations. Utilize medical imaging technology to assist in diagnostics. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality. Skills Proficient in medical terminology and dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff. Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards. Experience with X-ray technology and ability to perform imaging tasks accurately. Excellent interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care to patients. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
