Position Summary Franklin Dental Care and Dentures is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist dedicated to both patient care and community impact. Our providers combine excellent bedside manner, evidence-based dentistry, and leadership to create lasting change in the lives of our patients, many of whom rely on Medicaid and are on their path to recovery. This position is fast-paced and highly rewarding. You'll see 10-15 patients daily (8:30 am - 4:00 pm), with 15-minute breaks as the schedule allows. Our ideal candidate is as much a teacher and motivator as a clinician, with strong communication and motivational interviewing skills to connect with diverse backgrounds. Compensation & Benefits Salary: Starting at $1,000 per day Growth: Continuing education, business mentorship, and partnership opportunities Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (Saturdays Optional) Opportunities: Marketing mentorship, leadership development, and nationwide networking Key Responsibilities Deliver ethical, evidence-based dental care, including restorative, prosthetic, and surgical procedures. Diagnose and treatment plan comprehensively using sound clinical judgement. Educate patients on preventive oral health practices. Perform procedures such as extractions, fillings, crowns/bridges, dentures, root canals, whitening, and hygiene services. Maintain detailed, professional clinical documentation. Collaborate with assistants and the office manager on efficiency, supply use, and workflow. Mentor and train dental assistants and staff in clinical efficiency and mindset. Participate in all required team meetings and personal/professional development check-ins.ns Represent Franklin Dental Care and Dentures at community events and dental outreach programs. Engage in marketing initiatives and social media content creation to promote practice culture and awareness. Comptencies Extractions, restorative, prosthetic, and endodontic procedures Dentrix and Google Workspace proficiency Digital/analog impressions and radiology Infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance CPR and management of medical emergencies DEA certification and malpractice insurance Experience working with Medicaid and underserved populations Education & Experience DDS or DMD from an accredited U.S. dental school Active Ohio dental license in good standing Consistent practice experience (no gap above 6 months preferred) Familiarity with Ohio Medicaid licensing and compliance Physical Requirements Ability to stand or walk for up to 4 hours and sit up to 2 hours at a time Manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform precise dental work and instrument handling About Franklin Dental Care and Dentures Located in the heart of Fraklin, Ohio, our four-operatory practice is proud to be one of western Ohio's largest Medicaid providers.
