Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The Associate Dentist will collaborate with a team of experienced professionals to deliver exceptional dental services, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and more. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Utilize dental software such as Dexis and Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping. Conduct patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Take and interpret medical imaging; apply knowledge of anatomy and medical/ dental terminology for accurate diagnosis and treatment. Provide patient education on oral health care, preventive practices, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient records. Collaborate with team members on four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties as needed. Qualifications DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice in the designated location. Experience in general dentistry; additional expertise in oral surgery, endodontics, or prosthodontics is a plus. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control procedures, and medical imaging techniques. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively. Ability to work efficiently within a team using four-handed dentistry techniques. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is highly desirable.
