Join Our Dynamic Dental Practice as a Dental Assistant! Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant with a passion for providing high-quality patient care? Our vibrant dental practice is looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team! If you have a strong understanding of dental terminology, medical documentation, and infection control protocolsâand you're committed to creating a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staffâwe want to hear from you. We're seeking a professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant who can seamlessly support our dentists and help ensure a positive experience for every patient. Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during examinations and a variety of dental procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in strict compliance with infection control standards Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using appropriate imaging techniques Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in full compliance with HIPAA regulations Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care to promote long-term dental health Manage patient scheduling, including follow-up appointments, to maintain an efficient patient flow and minimize wait times Utilize dental software (such as Open Dental) for managing patient information and scheduling Collaborate effectively with the dental team to provide exceptional and compassionate care Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant (required) Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred, but not required) Proficient in dental terminology Skilled in medical imaging techniques, including taking X-rays Experience operating 3D scanners (preferred) Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in documentation Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA regulations Experience assisting in pediatric dentistry (a plus, but not required) Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Positive and supportive work environment Opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning The chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients Ready to help us spread smiles?
