Experience with Curve Dental or similar electronic dental record systems is preferred, along with a strong foundation in dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation. Key Responsibilities Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures using chairside and four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare and maintain treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring strict adherence to aseptic and infection control protocols Take and process dental radiographs while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Accurately record vital signs, medical history, and clinical notes in Curve Dental or other dental EMR/EHR systems Support efficient patient flow by welcoming patients, updating records, and coordinating scheduling needs Educate patients on dental procedures, post-operative instructions, and optimal oral hygiene practices Assist with advanced diagnostic and medical imaging, including 3D scanning for treatment planning when applicable Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment in compliance with OSHA and infection control standards Support administrative and clinical documentation, including medical coding and record management related to dental treatment Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures when needed, demonstrating patience, empathy, and age-appropriate communication Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar clinical dental setting Proficiency with dental EMR systems ( Curve Dental preferred ); familiarity with medical coding and documentation is a plus Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and aseptic techniques Ability to safely operate dental radiographic equipment; radiography certification preferred Experience or comfort working with pediatric patients is highly valued Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Ability to handle sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred Knowledge of general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, implant dentistry, and modern imaging technologies is a strong advantage Why Join Innovo Dental and Implant Studio?
