Registered Dental Hygienist - Stellar Family Dental - Melbourne, FL

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our dental clinic. Dental Hygienist Responsibilities: Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, such as dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride application, sealant placement, and root planning. Conduct initial oral screenings and check patient’s dental history. Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis and report them to the dentist. Perform periodontal charting and take intra oral pictures using proper tools. Take and process xrays and review them for signs of dental diseases. Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care and oral hygiene techniques Advise patients on recommended oral health care and treatment plans. Comply with health and safety regulations and infection control protocols. Maintain patient records and documentation. Assist the dentist during dental procedures and emergencies as needed. Dental Hygienist Requirements: Associate degree in dental hygiene from an accredited school License to practice as a registered dental hygienist (RDH) Current CPR certification Experience as a dental hygienist or a similar role. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Proficiency in data entry and dental software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment.
