Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, covering procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Utilize dental fabrication techniques and ensure precise dental restorations and prostheses. Conduct procedures following aseptic technique and infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment. Manage medical documentation accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain detailed medical records. Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote optimal dental health. Collaborate with team members on four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Stay current with advances in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and related fields such as anatomy knowledge and medical terminology. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Skills Proficiency in using dental software such as Open Dental, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for documentation and practice management. Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, including pediatric patient care and behavior management. Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Familiarity with dental fabrication processes and medical imaging techniques. Ability to communicate effectively using dental terminology with patients and team members. Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic technique, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation standards. Skilled in utilizing dental office experience to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
