Position Overview This unique role offers the opportunity to utilize both your clinical and administrative expertise. We are a small, privately owned office that focuses on long-term care and relationships with our patients, guiding them not only into optimum oral health, but also systemic health. Ideally you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to both the efficiency of our front office and the delivery of exceptional patient care in the operatory. Key Responsibilities Dental Assistant Duties Providing exceptional comfort, care and education to our patients. Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays). Providing patients with pre- and post-operative instructions. Maintaining accurate patient records. Ensuring patient comfort during procedures. Administrative Duties Scheduling and confirming patient appointments. Managing patient billing and insurance claims. Answering phones and directing inquiries. Maintaining a clean and organized reception area. Updating patient information and maintaining confidentiality. Assisting with office inventory and ordering supplies. Qualifications Experience: Previous experience in a dental office is preferred. Certifications: Current dental assisting certification and X-ray certification are preferred. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with dental software and basic computer applications. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
