Dental Assistant - Woodruff Family Dentistry - Woodruff, SC

Dental Assistant Schedule: 4 days per week (some Fridays) Compensation: $22 + per hour, DOE Summary: Assists the Doctor with dental functions as well as the preparation/clean up of treatment areas by performing the following duties. Essential Tasks include the following but are not limited to: Assist the dentist chariside during procedures Prepare and seat patients for treatment Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness Take high-quality radiographs Provide patient education before, during, and after treatment Perform basic lab tasks as required Support smooth daily clinical operations Qualificaitons: 3 years of dental assisting experience preferred Dental assisting school training or in office training accepted Strong understanding of chairside assisting, radiographs, and sterilization protocols Excellent communication and patient rapport skills Reliable, team player, and detail-focused Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Registered Dental Assistant requires completion of a board approved dental assisting program and pass a national board examination.
