Responsibilities: Work with patients to determine their dental needs and achieve good dental health outcomes. Work with patients to determine appropriate treatment options and ensure that they understand the procedures. Make recommendations to patients about preventing tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral health problems. Interview patients and collect information about their dental history to gauge the proper course of treatment. Broad knowledge and skill set on all dental specialities to prepare and execute ideal yet flexible treatment plan. Educate patients on the value of good dental care.
