Overview We are seeking an experienced Dental Front Desk professional to join our busy dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical administrative support, dental office management, and excellent patient service skills. This role requires proficiency with various Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including Eaglesoft, along with a thorough understanding of dental terminology, insurance verification, and billing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient scheduling, insurance claims, and maintaining accurate dental records while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and provide outstanding front desk customer service Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare and Medicaid plans Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding payments using dental billing and coding knowledge Manage patient intake forms, update electronic health records, and ensure documentation review for accuracy Handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette and assist patients with inquiries Maintain accurate dental records, medical records, and filing systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with billing procedures, including collection of payments and posting transactions Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry (10 key typing), and document organization Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and effective care plan documentation Experience Proven experience as a Dental Front Deskwithin a dental clinic setting Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and medical billing procedures Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft Knowledge of insurance verification processes including Medicare and Medicaid claims processing Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and health information management systems Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and office administration Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations Prior clinic experience or hospital experience is advantageous for understanding healthcare workflows Ability to handle clerical tasks efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail in documentation review and record keeping knowledgeable in using the Vyne Dental Software for Billing This position offers an opportunity to work within a professional healthcare environment where your expertise in medical office management and patient care will be valued.
