We are looking for a skilled and compassionateDental Assistant to join our team and help us continue to provide exceptional service to our patients. Hours We’re looking for someone to work in our Grand Junction office from Tuesday through Friday. We are needing someone who would be willing to work in our Montrose location on Mondays & Tuesdays if needed. Job Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping them neat and organized. Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and materials, performing suctioning, and other tasks as needed. Take and develop dental X-rays. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment. Record patient medical and dental histories. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. Schedule appointments and manage patient records. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience as a Dental Assistant is required. Completion of an accredited dental assistant program is a plus. Current CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with dental software is a plus.
