Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Experience with electronic medical records and familiarity with various dental specialties are highly valued. Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following infection control protocols Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry Take dental X-rays, including 3D scans when applicable Manage patient records using Curve Hero while ensuring HIPAA compliance Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort Record vital signs and medical history, including medical documentation and coding as needed Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health maintenance Maintain a clean, organized work environment adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control standards Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred, willing to train right candidate Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential Experience with dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners is advantageous Familiarity with infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
