Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and interpersonal skills to assist the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental X-rays, utilizing medical imaging technologies. Utilize 3D scanners for advanced imaging when necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Support four-handed dentistry by anticipating the needs of the dentist during procedures. Assist in pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming environment for young patients. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice. Experience Candidates should possess relevant experience or training in the following areas: Proficiency in general dentistry practices, including anatomy knowledge. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques, including X-ray and 3D scanning technologies. Experience in four-handed dentistry techniques is highly desirable. Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols is essential.
