Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of infection control protocols, assisting in various dental procedures, and familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix and Epic. The Dental Assistant will work closely with dentists in areas including general dentistry, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Perform medical imaging as needed to support diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage patient records using Dentrix or Epic software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Schedule appointments and follow up with patients regarding their treatment plans. Support the overall efficiency of the dental clinic by performing administrative tasks as needed. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with infection control practices in a dental setting is essential. Experience in assisting with endodontics, pediatric dentistry, or general dentistry is a plus. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.
