We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dynamic dental team. Patient care is our #1 concern. Possessing a strong background in dental assisting, with specialized training in expanded functions is ideal. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring efficient clinic operations, and supporting the overall success of our practice. The EFDA will work closely with dentists and other team members to deliver exceptional dental services while enjoying the team camaraderie. Pay is based on experience and duties able to be performed. Responsibilities Assist dentists in various procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques. Perform expanded functions while also being flexible to assist the dentist and other EFDA's where and when necessary. Conduct chairside assisting during patient examinations and procedures, maintaining a sterile environment through aseptic techniques. Monitor and record vital signs as part of comprehensive patient assessments prior to treatment. Requirements Certification as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) or equivalent experience in dental assisting is required.
