Job Overview: Clifton Modern Dentistry is our new office set to open in Mid January. We are taking over from Dr. Dennis Murphy. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our wonderful team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental team in a fast-paced environment. This position requires an individual with a strong focus on infection control, HIPAA compliance, and exceptional communication skills. Duties: - Assist dentists with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, and monitoring patient vital signs. - Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation, adhering to HIPAA guidelines. - Utilize medical imaging equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning. - Familiarize yourself with Curvehero software and other dental management systems. - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dental office, adhering to infection control protocols. - Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, answering patient calls, and handling billing and insurance inquiries. - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations. Skills: - Proven experience in general dentistry, endo, oral surgery and assisting with x-rays. - Strong understanding of medical documentation and HIPAA regulations. - Proficiency in dental software. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of focus. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all patients. - Experience with medical imaging equipment and infection control protocols. - Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and a positive experience.
