Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using Eaglesoft software. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment. Perform basic dental procedures such as taking X-rays, impressions, and assisting with endodontic treatments. Support pediatric, special needs and geriatric patients by providing compassionate care tailored to their needs. Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, file charts, send referrals and manage the front desk as needed. Experience Previous experience in a dental assisting role is preferred, with knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology. Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is advantageous. Understanding of infection control practices within a clinical setting. Experience working in various dental specialties is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate medical documentation.
