Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and committed to promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing preventative dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations. Provide professional dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment. Perform medical imaging procedures such as X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment notes and medical coding for services rendered. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of infection control standards and practices. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education. Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
