We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic dental assistant to support our orthodontist in delivering high-quality care. This is a hands-on role in a small practice where you'll be the primary assistant, managing a variety of clinical and patient-facing tasks. Responsibilities: Assist the orthodontist during orthodontic procedures Take x-rays, photos, and intraoral scans Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols Prepare and clean treatment areas before and after patient visits Manage inventory of supplies and place orders as necessary Educate patients (and parents) on oral hygiene, appliance care, and maintenance of braces or aligners Qualifications: Valid X-ray license (DRT) Previous experience as a dental / orthodontic assistant preferred (but we welcome motivated candidates with strong transferable skills) High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assisting program is a plus CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Desired Traits: Responsible and dependable Friendly and approachable with excellent customer service skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Able to multi-task efficiently Team player who enjoys building positive relationships with patients of all ages What We Offer: Competitive salary based on experience Supportive small-team environment Opportunities for growth and learning in orthodontics Uniform allowance PTO Expected hours: 23 - 28 per week Salary Range: $22 - 27 per hour If you're passionate about helping patients achieve beautiful, confident smiles and want to be a key part of a small, dedicated orthodontic team, we encourage you to apply!
