Our family based private practice is looking for a front desk receptionist, who is cross-trained as a dental assistant, to join our team! The primary role of this position is the front desk/patient coordination, with the secondary role being to provide dental assistance when needed. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and are experienced in both dental financial coordination and dental assisting, we’d love to hear from you. Qualifications: Front desk/reception experience with dental financials & patient coordination. Strong multi-tasking abilities with a positive attitude Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to function as a dental assistant as needed. Requirements: Must have an active x-ray license. Applications without an active x-ray license will not be considered. able to work on fridays Preferred: Experience in General Dentistry Proficiency in Dentrix software Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Responsibilities: Greet patients and create a welcoming atmosphere Manage treatment scheduling efficiently Answer phone calls and assist patients with inquiries Handle correspondences with specialty offices Coordinate treatment plans and financials across multiple dental insurance providers Take x-rays, provide dental assistance in the back office as needed/ when needed. Salary is dependent on experience and accreditations.
