Registered Dental Hygienist- Part time - Curtis W Adams DMD PC - Flemington, NJ

We are looking for a part time Dental Hygienist for Mondays and Tuesdays from 7:30 AM- 4:45 PM to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. Duties revolve around conducting initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth and advising patients on oral health and preventative care. Must be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. Responsibilities Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Clean and help protect patients’ teeth, apply fluoride and sealants Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care Take X-rays Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Monitor supplies Skills In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Diploma in Dental Hygiene Valid NJ license to practice New graduates welcome Job Type: Part-time Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
