Responsibilities Provide exceptional, comprehensive hygiene care, including: Adult and pediatric prophylaxis Scaling and root planing (SRP) Periodontal charting, maintenance, and documentation Sealants and fluoride treatments Digital radiographs and intraoral photos Patient care and communication: Educate patients on home care, prevention, and periodontal health Review medical histories and communicate key findings to the doctor Support co-diagnosis and treatment planning through clear documentation Practice standards: Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control protocols at all times Help create a warm, welcoming experience for every patient, every visit Qualifications Active New Jersey Dental Hygienist license (required) Local anesthesia certification (preferred) 1+ year experience preferred , but motivated new grads are welcome Gentle touch, strong communication, and a comfort-focused mindset Reliable, team-oriented, and excited to grow with a young, expanding practice Experience with Dentrix Ascend is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) Health insurance (full-time) Dental benefits Opportunity to increase days/hours over time Supportive, low-stress environment with enough time to treat patients thoroughly Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour Work Location: In person
