Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring optimal oral health for each patient Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to maximize efficiency and patient comfort Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while maintaining strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories in EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix Support pediatric dentistry services by creating a welcoming environment for children and applying specialized pediatric dental procedures Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a busy dental office or clinic setting, with familiarity in general dentistry procedures Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical coding standards Hands-on experience with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and medical records management Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining excellent patient care and communication skills Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, demonstrating patience and adaptability in pediatric dentistry environments Join us to make a difference in patients’ lives by providing top-tier dental hygiene services!
