We offer a 3 day work week, and base our reimbursement on a high percentage of collections. Your work will be supported by two seasoned assistants at all times and three exceptional hygienist. Requirements Maine Licensure in Dentistry, current and in good standing Able to be licensed in the State of Maine prior to start date Ability to obtain insurance in the State of Maine Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with a focus on general dentistry and patient care. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical documentation procedures. Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures. Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics; experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for safeguarding patient privacy and medical records. Duties Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics. Utilize advanced dental software (Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix) for scheduling, documentation, and medical records management in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care to promote long-term oral health. Maintain infection control standards and ensure all medical documentation is accurate and up-to-date using medical imaging and dental terminology.
