Overview: We are a growing PPO/ Fee For Service multispecialty dental practice in Marina Del Rey. We are looking for a full time or part time RDA to join our team. Our office focuses on great patient care and customer service offering the latest technology in a modern and clean facility. CEREC/ same day crowns experience preferred but not required. Dentrix experience preferred but not required. Implant and surgical experience preferred but not required. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics and oral surgery using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for patient appointments. Take dental radiographs (X-rays), including medical imaging and 3D scans, while adhering to strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols aligned with HIPAA regulations. Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic, ensuring accurate documentation of medical and dental histories, vital signs, and treatment notes. Perform chairside assisting duties by providing support during procedures, taking vital signs, and explaining treatments to patients to foster comfort and understanding. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment following infection control standards and OSHA guidelines Qualifications Certified or licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant with current credentials recognized by state regulations. Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with proficiency in dental assisting procedures across general dentistry. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with EMR systems like Dentrix for managing medical records and documentation efficiently. Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners accurately and safely. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate with the dental team.
