We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and compassionate Dental Assistant with surgical experience to support our periodontal and implant procedures. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and committed to excellent patient care. Position: Dental Assistant Type: Part-time (2-3 days per week) Experience Required: Surgical or periodontal assisting experience preferred Software: Open Dental experience is a plus Responsibilities Assist the periodontist during surgical and non-surgical procedures Prepare and maintain surgical trays, instruments, and operatories Take X-rays and intraoral photos Provide post-op instructions and patient education Maintain sterilization protocols and OSHA/HIPAA compliance Support front office as needed for smooth patient flow Document treatment accurately in Open Dental (training provided if needed) Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred Surgical or periodontal assisting experience strongly preferred X-ray certification required Knowledge of implants, grafting, and periodontal procedures is a plus Strong communication and patient-care skills Professional, reliable, and team-oriented Open Dental software experience is a plus Why Join Us?
