Position Requirements (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY) Applicants MUST have: Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental office (required) Hands-on dental insurance experience , including: Insurance verification Benefits breakdowns Treatment estimates Claims submission and follow-up Experience presenting dental treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements with parents/caregivers Familiarity with PPO and Medicaid dental plans (required) Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced pediatric dental environment Applicants without dental office AND dental insurance experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and families in a warm, professional manner Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments Prepare and present accurate treatment plans and financial estimates Submit dental insurance claims and follow up as needed Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system Ensure HIPAA compliance when handling patient information Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims and benefits Support front office operations, including phones, correspondence, and patient inquiries Collaborate with clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and care coordination Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Work Location: In person
