Doc Bresler's Cavity Busters is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Roxborough location. This is an immediate Full time or Part time position. Dental Assistants MUST BE X-RAY CERTIFIED . Dental Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet parents and review treatment plan for visit. Responsible to walk patients back to treatment areas and verify demographics. Review and record dental health histories of patient in digital chart. Take digital x-rays and panoramic images. Set up instrument trays and prepare patient for treatment. Set up dental chair with all necessary dental materials for doctor, Hygienist, and EFDA. Enter treatment information and procedures into patient’s electronic chart. Chairside assist doctors and EFDAs by preparing materials and handling suctioning. Make preliminary impressions for our lab. Clean room and disinfect dental chairs after patient use. Sterilize dental instruments and disinfect equipment. Review visit with parent after treatment, provide postoperative instructions, and lead parent to the front desk for follow up appointments. Unboxing materials and verifying orders. Dental Assistant Requirements: X-ray certification (mandatory) Ability to multi task and work in a team environment Requested, but not required: Experience with Dentrix Enterprise dental software and dental terminology.
