About us Roger M. Sepich, D.D.S. is in need of an experienced Dental Assistant or an Expanded Function Dental Assistant for a full time position. Our work environment includes: Four day workweek 7-4 One hour lunch Fun, professional team Uniform allowance ITERO scanner Digital x-rays I.V. Sedation/Nitrous Paid time off and other incentives will be discussed Responsibilities: - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Working knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures - Take dental x-rays (certification required) - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Performing dental laboratory procedures - Maintain accurate patient records and chart documentation Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Proficient in using dental software, such as Eaglesoft - Ability to perform patient assessments and record vital signs This position requires an experienced dental assistant with x-ray certification or Expanded Function Dental Assistant certification. Previous experience working in a dental office is a must. The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments. They must also possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages.
