Dental Assistant (DA) - Mechael Professional Dental Corporation - El Cajon, CA

A hi-tech private General family dental office is seeking an experienced DA min 1 year as a part/full time position from 8AM to 2PM. Must have an excellent customer service, well trained on all standard dental assistant duties, good chair side manner and knowledge. Patient's greetings, as well as ability to be friendly and like working with people. Must be neat, organized, and be fluent in English. Must have strong knowledge with dental terminologies. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Prepare materials for impressions and restorations - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Schedule appointments and manage patient flow - Perform medical coding and ensure accurate billing - Assist with medical documentation and record keeping - Conduct patient assessments and document findings Experience: - Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
